Members of The Art Quilt Association are fiber artists living on the Western Slope of theColorado Rocky Mountains. Specializing in quilts as art rather than bed coverings, theyexplore textile manipulation and diversity of mixed media as an art form. Established in 1996, AQuA has nearly 70 members. The Art Quilt Association was featured in Quilters Newsletter Magazine in the December 2008 issue. 14 quilts by makers from AQuA appear in the magazine. Interested in joining us? Membership and Meeting Information: The Art Quilt Association welcomes all art quilters and fiber artists. Meetings are generally held at 9:30am on the third Saturdays of most months in Grand Junction, Colorado.
